Jess Edwards, President
Jess@EasternOutdoorInc.com
After being born in Rocky Mount, N.C., Jess grew up in Kinston, N.C., while his dad, Carl, was growing Eastern Outdoor, Inc. into a successful outdoor advertising company throughout Eastern North Carolina. After graduating from Arendell Parrott Academy, Jess attended North Carolina State University, and graduated with a degree in Economics (Business Management and Accounting).
Jess returned to his home town of Kinston to start his business career with Sanderson Farms, in their management training program. After three years of gaining experience in the corporate world, and deciding he wanted to make Kinston his family’s permanent home, Jess left Sanderson to start Eastern Outdoor Development, Inc. As Eastern was making traction in the outdoor advertising industry, the opportunity came for Jess to acquire ERA Kinston Realty Group, Inc. Jess is excited as he captains the ship for ERA Kinston Realty Group and Eastern Outdoor Development, Inc. into unchartered waters throughout Eastern North Carolina!

Cameron was born and raised in Kinston, NC and graduated from North Lenoir High School in 2007. He extended his education at East Carolina University where he studied Sport Management with a Minor in Business Marketing. Dugout Media was hired by youth baseball equipment companies to market and sell their products throughout the youth baseball summer circuit. This internship led him to taking a position with Team IP, an event merchandising company that had a footprint across the entire United States. His New England Region included Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. He spent a total of 4 years living and working in Boston before he decided to listen to his heart and return back home to Kinston.
With the growth of Eastern Outdoor Development, Inc. Cameron was a perfect fit to join the Eastern team. Since May 2017, Cameron has been out on the road day in and day out and is the face between the customers and property owners and Eastern Outdoor Development, Inc.

Carl Edwards
Carl@EasternOutdoorInc.com
After graduating with a marketing degree from East Carolina University in 1978, Carl began his outdoor advertising career with White Advertising, as a sales executive covering North Carolina and South Carolina. After two years, Carl moved into management with Whiteco Metrocom, formerly White Advertising, in Rocky Mount, N.C. Soon thereafter, Carl relocated with Whiteco to Columbus, Ohio, as general manager, covering, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. In 1983, Carl followed his heart back to eastern North Carolina and started Eastern Outdoor, Inc. Using the knowledge he had acquired over the past five years, Carl started developing and building outdoor advertising structures from Raleigh to the coast. After growing and operating Eastern for twenty two years, in 2005 the opportunity came to sell the five hundred plus faces that Eastern had grown into in size.
Carl decided that selling Eastern Outdoor, Inc. to Next Media, Inc. and assuming a five year consulting contract, was in his best interest and would allow him more time for family and other opportunities. It was an exciting time in 2013, when Carl’s son Jess decided to go into outdoor advertising by starting Eastern Outdoor Development, Inc. This has given Carl the opportunity to mentor Jess and stay connected with an industry that he loves and one that has been a true blessing to him. Now having forty years of experience in the outdoor advertising industry, it still excites Carl to make a cold call on a new potential customer to show them how bold and cost effective outdoor advertising can be!
